There is however, a limit for audio messages that you can record through WeChat. The audio messages are 60 second long.
I have WeChat version 2.3.0.93 installed on my PC. On my mobile device I have a function called "discover/moments". I cannot find that path on my PC. Does it exist? I am using Windows XP.

This feature is not available for the Windows version of the WeChat application. It's exclusively available only on the mobile device where WeChat is installed.
I've tried to use the web version of WeChat and this feature wasn't there as well, which means that I was right: it can be used only in the application on your mobile device.
I would like to ask you what does 'Recommended friend' in WeChat? Did a person send me a friend invite or WeChat recommended suggestions of friends?

The Recommended friends function is used to show various users that are using the same application. These users are recommended based on your preferences, behavior, chat activity, etc. It's not mandatory to add those friends, but you can check them out. To disable this option, go to Settings -> Plug-ins then restart the WeChat client.

There is no information about the deletion of the WeChat Moment feature. WeChat Moment is used to streamline all the activities you post with your friends. If you disable this feature, then the possibility to share the activities will not be available. The best way is to add WeChat Team to the list of your contacts and contact the developers directly.
WeChat is currently in beta testing support of OAuth2 (login to other apps using WeChat credentials). When is the beta testing targeted for completion? Within weeks? Months? End of year?

It's impossible to provide details about the OAuth2 beta testing protocol. I have searched the official website and blog, but nothing was written or announced about it. There are a few projects hosted on various open source platforms that have OAuth2 protocol added as a sideload for WeChat. You can browse them using the results from Google Search.
